จุดมุ่งหมายของการบวช
出家的目的是為了了生死
The purpose of becoming monastics is for free from rebirth and death.
จุดมุ่งหมายของการบวชคือปราศจากการเกิดและความตาย
了生死就得修行，修行就要能吃苦。
To be free rebirth and death, we have to practice; to practice, we have to be able to endure hardships.
เพื่อปราศจากการเกิดและความตาย เราต้องปฎิบัติ
การปฏิบัตินั่น เราต้องสามารถอดทนต่อความยากลำบากได้
不能吃苦、不知修行，生死不了，來生又在六道輪迴中。
If we cannot endure hardship and do not know how to practice, we will not be able to end rebirth and death, and our future lives will cycle in the six realms of reincarnation.
หากทนความลำบากไม่ได้และไม่รู้จักปฏิบัติ เราก็ไม่สามารถปราศจากการเกิดและความตายได้ ชีวิตในอนาคตของเราจะหมุนเวียนอยู่ในภพภูมิทั้งหก

修苦行就是磨煉我們的身心，能夠使我們沒有我相、沒有貪瞋痴，達到身口意清淨。
Practicing ascetic practices is to train our body and mind, so that we can have no attachment to self, no greed, anger and delusion, and achieve purity of body, speech and mind.
การปฏิบัติบำเพ็ญตบะเป็นการฝึกกายและจิตของเรา ให้ไม่ยึดติดกับตัวตน ไม่มีความโลภ ความโกรธ ความหลง และบรรลุถึงความบริสุทธิ์ของการกระทำ คำพูด และความคิด
在家有苦，出家也有苦。
For lay people, there is suffering to be endured; for monastics, there is also suffering to be beared.

在家所受的苦沒有目的，而出家受的苦， 是要了生死，不受輪迴。

修苦行就是對一切粗賤的工作，都要無分別地去做。
